Plants are good for you
Foliage plants are the finishing touch to a beautiful interior design.
In the same way as artwork fills up bare walls, plants add a soft touch to angular furnishings and rooms.
By exchanging fresh oxygen for stale carbon dioxide and other harmful toxins, live plants clean the air we breathe. Plants are born air filters; they absorb the impurities in the air and transfer the toxins to the soil. These toxins in the soil are then actually used as a source of food for the plant!
Studies confirm that plants can make you happy and reduce stress. Plants have been proven to help people in stressful environmental situations to reduce their blood pressure, recover from the stress, and improve their overall health and well-being.
I bet you never thought that a plant on your desk or in your living room could help with the dry air you’re breathing. In fact, plants can help summer and winter. In the summer, office workers who bring plants into their offices notice a reduction in air temperature. The plants are constantly giving off moisture into the air as they take in oxygen; you’ll notice lower cooling costs with indoor plants, whether at the office or at home.
In the winter, meanwhile, the moisture given off by the plants will act as a humidifier and increase moisture in the dry air. My philosophy is that the more plants you have at home or in your indoor work area, the better for everyone working and living around you.
Apart from their health benefits, plants are beautiful.
